SUMMARY:ACTA herstart de opleiding Prothetische tandheelkunde en Orale Implantologie
DESCRIPTION:ACTA herstart per september haar afstudeerprofiel van de master in Oral Health Science Orale Implantologie en Prothetische Tandheelkunde. De opleiding kan per 2022-2023 drie studenten voor dit afstudeerprofiel plaatsen en nodigt belangstellenden uit te solliciteren naar een opleidingsplaats. \nDit afstudeerprofiel is een van de vijf afstudeerprofielen binnen de Engelstalige  post-initiële master-opleiding Oral Health Sciences. \nDe afdeling Reconstructieve Mondzorg van ACTA verzorgt het afstudeerprofiel Prothetische tandheelkunde en Orale Implantologie. Het betreft een driejarige fulltime opleiding waarbij vier dagen per week fysieke aanwezigheid is vereist. De principes van Top Down Planning of ook wel Backward Treatment Planning genoemd\, zijn leidend in deze opleiding. De opleiding combineert prothetische tandheelkunde en orale implantologie omdat zij uitgaat van de filosofie dat het prothetische probleem en de mogelijke behandeling daarvan leidend is voor de keuze van een eventuele implantaatbehandeling. SUMMARY:TMS-THK-CBCT: Toezichthoudend medewerker Stralingsbescherming Tandheelkunde voor de Conebeam CT
DESCRIPTION:Deze cursus volgt u online en grotendeels in uw eigen tijd op de momenten dat het u uitkomt. \nData\nDe cursus wordt meerdere keren per jaar gegeven.\nEerste startdatum: 15 april. Tweede startdatum: 28 augustus. U kunt eventueel ook iets later dan de startdatum beginnen.\nHet examen vindt plaats in het Radboudumc in Nijmegen. \nDoelgroepen\nDe cursus is bedoeld voor tandartsen\, orthodontisten en kaakchirurgen. \nCursusinhoud\nDeze cursus voldoet aan de nieuwe wettelijke eisen\, zoals geformuleerd in de Regeling deskundigheidseisen radiologische verrichtingen. \nIn deze cursus wordt een samenvatting gegeven van relevante wet- en regelgeving rond het werken met CBCT en hoe deze in de praktijk kan worden geïmplementeerd. Omdat de patiëntdosis bij CBCT meestal hoger is dan bij intra orale opnamen wordt uitgebreid aandacht besteed aan de rechtvaardiging van de opnamen en de stralingsveiligheid van patiënt\, behandelaar en omgeving. \nTijdens deze cursus wordt door middel van een groot aantal presentaties en toetsvragen duidelijk gemaakt wat de verschillen zijn tussen de traditionele 2D en de huidige 3D röntgenopnamen. \nAangezien de aanvrager en de beoordelaar van een CBCT wettelijk verplicht is de gehele CBCT te beoordelen\, wordt geoefend in een systematische beoordeling van de foto’s. Voor de beoordeling is een goede kennis van de anatomie van het hoofd noodzakelijk. \nLeerdoelen:\n• voldoen aan de wettelijke eisen rondom het werken met CBCT\n• het kunnen beoordelen van CBCT opnames op een systematische manier \nNa het volgen van de cursus bent u in staat om:\n• een goede CBCT-opname voor een specifieke indicatie te kunnen maken\n• een CBCT te beheren en een melding of vergunningsaanvraag hiervoor te doen\n• te selecteren of het maken van een CBCT opname geïndiceerd is\n• te selecteren welke CBCT opname gekozen kan worden\n• een gemaakte opname op een systematische manier te bekijken met behulp van een softwareprogramma. \nToetsing\nDe cursus wordt afgesloten met een landelijk erkend examen op locatie van het Radboudumc in Nijmegen. \nMeer informatie en aanmelden Toezichthoudend medewerker Stralingsbescherming Tandheelkunde voor de Conebeam CT \n

SUMMARY:Acute medische situaties in de praktijk - ACTA
DESCRIPTION:Een intensieve 1-daagse cursus\, gericht op het vroegtijdig herkennen van mogelijke acute medische situaties in de tandheelkundige praktijk en hoe adequaat te handelen tijdens noodsituaties. \nHet theoretische ochtendprogramma behandelt verschillende acute medische situaties waarop u voorbereid dient te zijn. Voorbeelden zijn: collaps\, hyperventilatie\, astma\, bewusteloosheid\, hypoglykemie\, epilepsie en myocardinfarct. Tevens wordt aandacht besteed aan (acute) medische problemen die op uzelf betrekking kunnen hebben\, zoals allergieën en prikaccidenten. \nHet middagprogramma is praktisch van aard\, waarbij u in kleine groepjes handelingen oefent die betrekking hebben op noodsituaties\, zoals Basic Life Support\, volgens de laatste richtlijnen van de Nederlandse Reanimatieraad. \nTevens wordt geoefend met de inhoud van de medische noodkoffer en worden acute situaties met Lotusslachtoffers ‘aan den lijve’ ondervonden. \n  \nMeer informatie en inschrijven: Acute medische situaties in de praktijk

SUMMARY:Update Röntgen - M2 Academy
DESCRIPTION:Volgens het nieuwe besluit basisveiligheidsnormen stralingsbescherming (BBS) dient elke\nvijf jaar een tandarts (toezichthoudend medewerker stralingsbescherming tandheelkunde) of medewerker die in opdracht van een tandarts tandheelkundige röntgenopnamen maakt te kunnen aantonen dat zijn/haar kennis over röntgenstraling up-to-date is. Het gaat om kennis over de eigenschappen van röntgenstraling\, mogelijke gevaren\, beschermingsmaatregelen en de op dat moment geldende regelgeving. Deze gevolgde nascholing dient te worden gedocumenteerd in het KEW dossier. \nNa het volgen van deze cursus is de kennis geüpdatet en voldoet de tandarts (toezichthoudend medewerker stralingsbescherming tandheelkunde) /medewerker die in opdracht van een tandarts röntgenfoto’s maakt aan de nascholingseisen zoals die zijn opgenomen in het BBS. \n  \n\n\nDocenten\n\nAlle opleidingen en cursussen van M2 academy worden onder supervisie van Jacqueline Strooband verzorgd door professionals van M2 tandartsen.
