Belgium is proud to welcome the EAPD family for the 3rd time since the EAPD was founded in 1989. Previous meetings hosted in our country were the 4th EAPD meeting in Bruges (in 1996) and the 2nd EAPD Interim meeting in Brussels (in 1999). This clearly indicates the close relation, connection and friendship between Belgium and the EAPD.
The theme of the 2015 Interim Seminar, management of early caries lesions in the primary and young permanent dentition, illustrates the need for an update on the very basics of preventing this oral infectious disease. Keynote speakers will share their latest research findings, scientific knowledge and expertise with meeting participants enabling them to approach this topic from an interdisciplinary perspective.
On an individual basis the meeting will give each of us the opportunity to share new ideas, exchange knowledge, discover new technology and techniques, and strengthen his network of personal professional support.
The meeting will take place at the Golden Tulip – Diegem Airport Hotel, a congress site offering all necessary facilities and situated close to Brussels National airport (Zaventem). As capital of Europe, Brussels has excellent connections with direct flights and/or high speed trains from all European capitals and most mayor cities across Europe. From the airport, there is an excellent connection to the city centre (every 20 minutes). In the immediate neighbourhood of the congress centre, there is a wide choice of hotel accommodation available, in different price categories. The congress fee includes a get together event on Thursday evening, all lunches and coffee breaks. The gala dinner ( not included in the fee !) will be organised on a very special location. We will take care of you and make sure that you will be able to taste the Belgian way of living.
