Basis ideeën en principes
In het eerste deel legt hij enkele basis ideeën en principes uit, waaronder craniomandibulaire dysfunctie. Dit is geen specifieke diagnose, maar een potentieel symptoomcomplex, waarbij verschillende elementen een rol kunnen spelen, zoals hoofdpijn, spanning, krakende gewrichten, onbeweeglijkheid en gebitsslijtage – allemaal elementen die ook door disocclusie veroorzaakt kunnen zijn.
Correlatie cranomandibulaire dysfunctie
Waar sommige onderzoeken de correlatie tussen deze elementen en craniomandibulaire dysfunctie ontkennen, stelt deze video dat het juist wel nodig is om dit als mogelijkheid te zien, om zo indien nodig de dysfunctie als eerste te kunnen behandelen.
