Annual meeting American Academy of Periodontology

The Research Forum provides a platform for clinical and basic research to be presented by those in the field of periodontics. Abstracts describing new and significant information covering all aspects of periodontics are welcome. However, only original materials may be submitted; abstracts that have been previously published are not eligible for submission.

A panel of judges will review all submissions and select poster presenters and finalists. Finalists will be selected in both basic and clinical research and will be asked to present their poster to a panel of judges at the Annual Meeting. Finalists have the opportunity to win one of three possible cash prizes. Please note that poster presenters and finalists are responsible for their own airfare to the meeting, hotel room, meals, meeting registration fees, and any other costs associated with presenting at the Annual Meeting.

All abstract submissions for the Research Forum must be collected via the AAP’s abstract manager, accessible at http://aap2014.abstractcentral.com. After creating an account, the author is taken through the submissions process step-by-step.
